Mayanmar (Burma) Cyclone Appeal

Cyclone Nargis which hit Myanmar (Burma) on Saturday May 3 2008 was quickly labelled the worst storm to hit Asia in 25 years. To date around 22,000 people are confirmed dead and over 40,000 are missing.

Thousands have been left homeless and are in urgent need of shelter, food and water.

IR is sending a response team and needs �3 million to begin helping the people of Myanmar survive this humanitarian disaster.... .......more
