With BNP supporting Boris, the Londoners' choice cannot be clearer

With the Fascist British National Party urging its supporters to lend their second vote to the Conservative candidate Boris Johnson on the coming Mayoral elections on the 1st of May, the choice really cannot be any clearer.

The British Muslim Initiative has repeatedly highlighted Boris Johnson's despicable track record on race-relations, multiculturalism, Islam and Islamaphobia and his views on various other ethnic minorities, but nothing can truly confirm the disastrous reality for all Londoners that will emerge should Johnson become Mayor of London, than the BNP actually calling him their second preference.

BMI hopes that this will bring home the urgency of the situation and will make the right choice even clearer in the minds of those who for some reason are still in doubt; unless Ken Livingstone is returned as Mayor of London, it will be the racists, the fascists, the xenophobes and the Islamaphobes who will be running London for the next four years.

Mohammed Sawalha, President of BMI welcomed poll results suggesting that "despite the venemous media campaign vilifying Ken Livingstone run by the Evening Standard and the right-wing national press, both he and Johnson remain neck and neck, which shows that Londonders appreciate the stakes".

He added: "However, it is vital that even more effort is spent making citizens of the city aware of the dangers that will befall us all should Ken Livingstone not win the elections, and the GLA becomes awash with right-wing xenophobes". [End]
