DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER

Required for September 2008
Salary: Inner London L8 – L12

We are an expanding voluntary-aided Muslim primary school for boys and girls from Reception class to Year 6. Our pupils are from all backgrounds, cultures and nationalities, and achieve good academic standards.

The governors of this popular school are seeking to appoint a committed Muslim as a full-time Deputy Head Teacher. The successful candidate will:

- Be an excellent classroom practitioner

- Have experience of team leadership

- Work effectively with the Head Teacher and Governing Body on all areas of school improvement

- Keep spiritual development at the heart of the learning process

- Show high expectations of attainment and behaviour

- Inspire confidence in colleagues, pupils and parents

- Support the school’s Islamic values and ethos.


We can offer a friendly and dynamic working environment with dedicated staff and a supportive governing body.

The successful candidate will be expected to start from September 2008. An earlier start date may also be possible.
