End the Siege on Gaza
International Day of Action

Saturday 26th January
No 10 Downing, London

Israel has launched an open-ended military aggression on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 68 people, including women and children, over the past few days.

After long, blooded days of Israeli strikes and raids, the besieged Gaza Strip is now sinking in total darkness over Israel's blocking of fuel and power supplies.

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said the shutdown of the station would have "a devastating impact."

"Depriving people of such basics as water is tantamount to depriving them of human dignity," said UNRWA spokesman Christopher Gunness.

"It is difficult to understand the logic of making hundreds of thousands of people suffer quite needlessly."

Gaza Strip is already reeling under a crippling US-led Western economic boycott that left its economy on the verge of collapse.

Join us in protesting against Israel blocking desperately ill Palestinians from accessing medical treatment and its escalating military attacks on Gaza Saturday 26 January, 4-6pm opposite No 10 Downing Street.

Israel's illegal, brutal siege of Gaza is tightening, restricting fuel and electricity, and preventing even medical supplies, food, essential construction materials and paper for UN schoolbooks from entering Gaza . With lethal military strikes being launched on Gaza and Ehud Barak has warned that an Israeli invasion of Gaza is nearing. Even those who desperately need medical treatment are prevented from leaving.

Collective punishment is being inflicted upon the Palestinians for voting for a government against the wishes of Israel , the US and the EU.

Call on the British government to end its collusion with these policies, which are imprisoning Gazans and attempting to destroy their lives by limiting access to food, electricity, clean water supplies and medical treatment.
